Game Menu

New - Difficult: Starts a new difficult game. The program will display only as many numbers as are needed for a unique solution.

New - Medium: Starts a new medium difficult game. You will start with more visible numbers as in the difficult games.

New - Easy: Starts a new easy game. This is the same as medium but with even more visible numbers when starting.

New - Very Difficult (up to 9x9): Starts a new game with vaguely the same number of visible numbers as in difficult games. Though in these games it will sometimes happen that no cell with a unique solution exists. In this case you will need to try different numbers for a cell to find the solution.

New - Empty: Creates an empty Sudoku. Use this to copy Sudokus from other sources or create new ones from scratch.

Accept Board Changes: If you modified an existing Sudoku or created a new one and a solution was found, you can use this command to commit your changes and start playing. This command does the same as the OK button in the Edit Bar.

Save As: Opens the 'Save As' dialog to select a new filename and saves the current name in that file.

Print: Prints the current game with the last settings of the Print Settings dialog that is opened via the Multiple Print... command. If you have not yet used this command the Sudoku is printed together with its solution on a second page. (See also Printing and Copying Sudokus.)

Print Preview: Displays a preview for the printout of the Print command.

Print Setup: Allows to change the printer and some printing options.

Multiple Print: Prints multiple Sudokus with or without solution on the same or different pages. To specify these settings, this command will open the Print Settings dialog.

Multiple Print Preview: Display a preview for the printout of the Multiple Print... command.

Exit: Quits the application. If the current game is not finished, it will be automatically saved to disk. You can disable the automatic saving in the Settings dialog.
