On this page you can download new boards and pieces graphics for the MaaTec
Sudoku program. New graphics will be added from time to time.
The Sudoku boards and pieces graphics are available as digitally signed, self-extracting
archives here. After downloading the files, you need to run them. This will
open a small dialog for installation of the graphics. All files in the archive need to be
copied into the 'boards' directory inside the Sudoku installation directory.
The standard Sudoku boards directory will be selected by default. If
you did not install the Sudoku application into the default directory, you
need to change the target path accordingly.

A Board for 16x16 Sudokus in metal-design with glass
pieces. The packet contains two versions of pieces with numbers from
1 to 16 and with letters from A to P.

5x5 to 9x9 Boards Package for Netbooks - Metal & Glass |

This package contains smaller metal and glass boards for 5x5 to
9x9 Sudoku puzzles. The size of the boards is optimized for lower screen resolutions (600 lines and above) and is well suited to play on most netbooks. These sudoku boards are labeled in the selection dialog with (wide) or (lower).

7x7 to 9x9 Boards Package - Wood, Metal & Glass |

Since version 1.8, this package is part of the standard
setup. This package contains wood and metal boards for 7x7, 8x8, and
9x9 Sudokus as well as wood pieces with numbers.

This package contains wood boards for all 10x10 and 12x12
Sudoku puzzles as well as glass pieces with letters and numbers. Additionally

This package contains boards for 4x4 Sudokus with underwater
background. Different fishes are used as pieces. Three new
area patterns '4x4 Corners', '4x4 Diagonal', and '4x4 Tetra' will be
installed as well. These are not included in the main setup.

This package contains boards for 12x12 Sudoku puzzles with
stars background. The pieces display signs of zodiac. Additionally a new area
pattern '12x12 Ladder' will be installed that is not included in the main setup.

Font for 10x10 to 25x25 Sudokus with Numbers |

This is not a board but a TrueType font that contains
two-digit numbers instead of upper-case characters and some symbols instead
of lower-case characters. To install the font, right-click the link below,
choose the 'Save target as...' command, and set the Windows fonts directory
as target path (usually 'C:\Windows\Fonts'). Now you can select the 'MaaTec
Sudoku' font in the settings dialog. To create 4x4 or 9x9 Sudokus with
symbols instead of numbers, you need to set the characters for Sudokus
up to 9x9 to the lower-case letters a to i.
