Installation

You can install MaaTec Sudoku with or without setup. If you use the setup, it is easier to choose the installation directory and you can uninstall the application via the control panel. Therefore the download size is considerably larger and you may need to reboot your system if the Windows Installer was not used before.

Installing and uninstalling MaaTec Sudoku with the setup file

Run the mtSudoku_en.exe setup application and follow the instructions. The setup will add an entry in the Windows start menu. If you are using Windows Vista, MaaTec Sudoku will also be added to the Game Explorer. To uninstall MaaTec Sudoku, open the control panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs (Vista. Programs and Features), select the MaaTec Sudoku entry, and click the Add/Remove button.

Installing and uninstalling MaaTec Sudoku manually

Create a new directory and unzip the MaaTec Sudoku files including their path structure into the new directory. Now you can start the application from here.

To uninstall MaaTec Sudoku, run the mtSudoku.exe from the command prompt or via the Run command in the start menu and add the /Unregister command line option (e.g. "C:\Program Files\MaaTec\MaaTec Sudoku\mtSudoku.exe" /Unregister). This will remove some registry entries. Now you can delete the application and settings directories.
